TLR is involved in the bulk transportation of dangerous chemicals for which the cleaning, loading, and operating procedures are particularly demanding. TLR is authorized to operate on industrial sites that fall under the Seveso Directive as well as nuclear power plants, electric and hydroelectric power plants, airports, etc. The company applies the same rigorous standards for the transportation of LTL, FTL and oversized loads as it does for industrial and express transportation.
Be it our truck drivers, employees, or our clients’ collaborators, all of TLR’s partners are trained to be highly attentive on the job. Additionally, all of our employees are trained and monitored several times a year in accordance to TLR’s rules of conduct, a precaution that makes it possible to anticipate all risks.
A guide to good practices and a user manual for our drivers is given to every collaborator. These documents serve as a daily reference for the regulations and working practices of the company.
To assist employees in the comprehension and adoption of these practices, TLR employs two full-time instructors to accompany their teams year round on our various operating sites. Our instructors provide drivers with the necessary information for road-transport restrictions concerning tankers and in oversized vehicles.
TLR is an active member of the AMTD (Association des Transporteurs de Matières Dangereuses). As an acting member of this association, TLR constantly participates in the improvement of industry standards of security by anticipating good safety practices.
