TLR's Ecological Commitment with ADEME

TLR has strengthened its ecological commitment by signing and renewing the CO2 commitment charter, drawn up in collaboration with ADEME.

Prerequisites of the CO2 Commitment Charter

By adhering to this charter, TLR commits to :

  1. Carry out a CO2 diagnosis to assess your current situation, define the scope of your commitment and choose the reference year.
  2. Establish company-specific environmental performance indicators, with 3-year reduction targets
  3. Design a three-year action plan, focusing on the vehicle, fuel, driver and organization of transport flows.
  4. Initiate at least one action per axis, with quantifiable objectives and a precise timetable for evaluating results.

TLR Voluntary Actions to Reduce CO2 Emissions

TLR has taken decisive action to minimize its CO2 emissions:

  1. Accelerated fleet modernization.
  2. Engine clamping to limit vehicle speed.
  3. Adoption of synthetic lubricants and aerodynamic accessories.
  4. Choice of eco-efficient tires with lower rolling resistance.
  5. Rigorous monitoring of consumption.
  6. Technical improvements to vehicles, robotized gearboxes, active safety
  7. Intensive eco-driving training and promotion of energy-saving practices.
  8. Load tracking and route optimization.
  9. Tires are inflated with nitrogen, an inert gas free of dust and moisture, which limits pressure loss and the risk of overheating.
  10. TLR: Pioneer in Sustainable Transport & Logistics

Thanks to the EDEN program, TLR defines and promotes its safety and environmental protection objectives as close as possible to its operations.

In a nutshell

🚚 Several million euros: That's how much we invest every year in state-of-the-art vehicles and trailers.

👩‍🏫 2 great in-house trainers, always ready to share their best practices and encourage and support their colleagues.

🌍 100% of our vehicles are so eco-friendly that they meet EURO 6 standards. We drive green, using biofuels such as rapeseed oil and synthetic fuels!

🌳 Since 2013, for example, we've saved over 500 tonnes of CO2 every year! That's like 225,000 saplings working for us!

🌲 300,000 trees have been planted thanks to our "10 pallets for the planet" action with our friends at Groupement FLO, to which TLR is a major contributor. More trees, more fun!

👫 Over 200 of our superhero collaborators are fully committed to the EDEN TLR program. Together, we make a difference!

♻️ And to top it all off, 120 tonnes of paper and cardboard are recycled every year. Because every sheet counts!

🎈 At TLR, we don't just transport, we work for you while being eco-responsible! 🌏🎉

Any questions?
